I am a trained coach, member of the International Coaching Federation, qualified hypnotherapist and mum of three.

I began my career working for the National Trust Magazine, where I was Deputy Editor for eight years. My favourite part of that role was getting to interview loads of different people for magazine features. I loved listening, asking great questions and forming one-to-one connections with people.

When I was pregnant with my first baby I was super-anxious about giving birth and I did a hypnobirthing course. That course completely changed my mindset about birth and taught me tools and techniques that helped me feel calm and empowered about giving birth.

Hypnobirthing helped me so much that I trained as a hypnobirthing instructor and hypnotherapist and set up my own business, as I felt passionate about helping other women feel differently about birth. Over the course of six years I helped 100s of women and their birth partners to feel calm and empowered about pregnancy and birth. 

I realised I was ready to stop teaching hypnobirthing a year or two before I stopped doing so. The reason I kept going was because I loved working with women and seeing their confidence around birth increase.

I even trained to teach baby massage, so that I could bring in some relaxation exercises and mini-visualisations for the mums. I ran group relaxation evenings to keep the connection I had with these mums.

But I wanted something more holistic and empowering - a way to help women deal with the anxiety, guilt, and overwhelm that motherhood can bring - because as a mum of three, I’d experienced all these feelings myself. So I trained as a life coach.

What is coaching?

Coaching is an amazing and empowering process that can help with so many aspects of motherhood - from building confidence, to challenging limiting beliefs, bringing more calm into your life or managing anxiety and impostor syndrome.

Coaching is a partnership in which we will explore your everyday reality and increase your self awareness, enabling you to make shifts in your life, whether these are small or big changes.

Who I work with

I work with mothers who want to enjoy their lives more, manage anxiety and overwhelm and build confidence. Many of my clients come to coaching because they want to make a change - the subjects and challenges my clients bring often include:

How I work

I work in a warm and supportive way - from my garden studio in Sonning Common or virtually. I create a safe and confidential space that is judgement-free where my clients feel seen, heard and nurtured. I am empathetic and a great listener and draw from my knowledge of TA, positive psychology and neuroscience.
I bring in somatic, NLP, and visualisation exercises, as well as my hypnotherapy experience.

I recommend booking a course of sessions that can be held one or two weeks apart.


My fees are £75 for an hour’s session or £400 for a block of six.

I would recommend a block of six sessions to help integrate shifts in habits and make change - holding the sessions a week or two apart helps build motivation. For some a few sessions might be enough.
